Whether you are a beginner or just needing to brush up on your welding skills, AES is the place for mastering your weld.
Being able to accomplish a good weld can be very gratifying. Not only does it enable and empower you to a wealth of all-things-metal, it allows an individual ample opportunity to hone in his or her skills and master the art passed down by the generations. All across the nation welding is alive and strong. It is something to be proud of. Whether because it is another thing to cross off your bucket list, or because you appreciate its capabilities, either way we believe welding is boss.
WHAT TO EXPECT
To start out, we will get you prepped and ready for MIG welding, followed by Stick welding, and finally TIG. You will learn about what makes a good weld vs what makes a bad one and how to change the settings in order to resolve any given effect. A steady hand and relaxed posture most always ensures a positive result.
Upon the whole, safety is a must. You will be instructed on what to be aware of when setting up to weld inside or outside a building.
Because the shop does not provide all the safety gear required for welding, as each individual is different, your welding instructor will recommend a place in which you can purchase your protective attire as needed.
• Welding Helmet
• Welding gloves
• Cotton welding jacket
• Leather boots
(We do provide protective eye-wear (glasses) and leather gloves)
Our payment methods involve either cash or time invested at the shop participating in either grinding, operating of the saw, drilling or any other activity as specified by your instructor. Either way, if you are a hands-on type of individual, you've come to the right place.

"Our only immediate expectation of you is that you possess the curiosity to learn. The rest will follow naturally." - Danelle Murphy
